Monaco

June 27, 2019 7:47am
I have always loved the French Riviera, especially the part of the coastline from Cannes to the Italian border. Traveling along this coast, just before hitting Italy, is the tiny independent city-state of Monaco. We were lucky enough to spend a day exploring Monaco and we were fortunate enough to have spectacular weather.

Oregon: Ashland – Pangea Cafe (Review)

June 6, 2019 11:54am
During our last visit to town I had got us tickets for the Sunday matinee showing of the musical Hairspray ( the Festival does many non-Shakespeare plays). So, we needed to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat before our show. Pangea is a small cafe / restaurant along Ashland's High Street serving soups, salads, wraps and paninis

Oregon: Ashland – Ruby’s (Eatery Review)

June 5, 2019 2:43pm
Established in 2011, Ruby's is nestled away from Ashland's busy high street on the border of the Historic Railroad District. They feature a wide variety of breakfast burritos and eclectic lunch sandwiches, including many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Ruby's also offers locally roasted organic coffee, espresso and a large selection of house-made refreshments (as well as beer, wine and cocktails).

Mexico: Quintana Roo – Las Robles (Review)

June 3, 2019 8:25am
Los Robles is a bijou, brightly decorated cafe located on one of the main streets through the town. It looked so welcoming and luckily for us the one outside sitting area had just become available as we walked up. The menu had so many tasty options, but we wanted something very light to eat and were tempted by the vegan ceviche and mini empanadas, which came in a plate of three - so we ordered a mix.
